Indus College of Law's History

In April 2010, Truth Foundation was established with three main objectives: to provide legal education; to establish the rule of law; and provide access to justice. Since then, this non-profit, non-governmental organization has conducted several law seminars to give awareness to general public and members of Truth Foundation have appeared on talk shows and news channels and have also provided legal aid to those in need. Truth Foundation with the main objective and mission of imparting Legal Education established Indus College of law (ICL) at Hyderabad in June 2011. ICL is recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan as Private Affiliated College of the University of Sindh, Jamshoro for providing 5-year Law degree. It is housed in state-of-the-art purpose build campus and boasts all the facilities desired for a high-quality Law College.

Indus Group of Law College's Birth

By 2021, at the genesis of 10th anniversary of Indus College of Law (ICL), demands to extend ICL network grew and it was felt that other cities of Pakistan may also be joined with Indus network and students from those areas may also benefit from state-of-the-art international standard education at their doorstep. In order to execute this goal, Truth Foundation Pakistan management decided to widen the scope of Legal Education by establishing “INDUS GROUP OF LAW COLLEGES” that will work as umbrella for existing and new Law Colleges that will be part of its group. Thus, year 2021 has dawned with three new Law Colleges joining ICL in ever growing Indus Group of Law Colleges (IGLC) network. Leon’s College of Law (LCL) Nawabshah and Foundation College of Law (FCL) Tando Jam have joined the Indus Network to provide same quality of education in Nawabshah and Tando Jam that student are getting at ICL in Hyderabad.

 

 

ICL's Mission and Purpose

The truth foundation with the main objective and mission of imparting legal Education established The “Indus Collage of Law” (ICL) in June 2011.

In 2009, Mr. Arsalan Mehdi Jaffri, then a student of law floated an idea to establish a state-of-art modern law institute in the province of Sindh which may be absolved from red tape and other bureaucratic hurdles, chiefly associated with public sector institutions. This idea was transformed into a coaching center firstly in 2010 and thereafter into a full-fledged law college in 2011. Mr. Arsalan Jaffri himself was visiting faculty members of Indus College of Law till the time he joined the judiciary.
